Frequently Asked Questions

What makes this high school unique?

The most obvious distinction between WMAA and other high schools is the aviation focus. As the only aviation-focused charter high school in the nation, our students have access to professional aviators and must adhere to our flight requirements. We have few athletic teams and are instead focused on preparing our students for the world beyond high school.

How many students do you accept each year?

We have 155 seats available for each year. After we receive the 155th application for each grade, we begin a waiting list.

How much does tuition cost?

Nothing. West Michigan Aviation Academy is a charter high school, which means it is completely tuition-free.
