Ratliff, Carson

Carson Ratliff Mr. Ratliff is excited to return for his fourth year at West Michigan Aviation Academy! This school year, Mr. Ratliff is teaching English 10, English 10 Honors, and Leadership. Mr. Ratliff graduated from Clarkston high school on the east side of Michigan and moved to Grand Rapids in the summer of 2010. He graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Secondary Education and a minor in History. Mr. Ratliff is currently taking graduate courses at Grand Valley and will graduate with his Master’s in Educational Leadership next summer.

When not in school, Mr. Ratliff enjoys playing and coaching basketball, playing golf, watching football, and spending time with family and friends. Mr. Ratliff comes from a large family and has enjoyed learning many valuable life lessons from his three older brothers and one older sister. One of Mr. Ratliff’s favorite things to do is spend time with his 11 nieces and nephews.

Mr. Ratliff is very excited to continue his professional career at West Michigan Aviation Academy and hopes to inspire curiosity and critical thinking in all of his students!
