Cheer Club

WMAA Cheer is an athletic club focused on building community, acquiring tumbling/stunting skills, side-line cheering, and preparing for competitive cheerleading. Our mission is to create a supportive environment in which every athlete feels valued, cared for, respected, represented, and supported.

The team meets Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:30-6PM in the main commons.

Athletes will participate in:

  • high-intensity workouts
  • flexibility-focused stretching
  • the learning of standard cheer terminology and moves
  • the practice of basic tumbling and stunting
  • performances for JV and Varsity basketball games
