Mrs. Pulera graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies. During her time at UConn she was a Division 1 athlete playing ice hockey all 4 years. During college she able to volunteer with other athletes raising money for inner city students as well as adopting families over holidays.
Shortly after college, Mrs. Pulera attended Western Michigan University where she received her Master of Arts in Counselor Education. While working on her masters degree she worked mainly with Grand Rapids youth providing a variety of enrichment activities to enhance academic, personal and emotional success.
The past 4 years Mrs. Pulera has worked at Nexus Academy but is very excited to join the WMAA team!
Mrs. Pulera enjoys live music, playing sports, playing guitar and running around with her two young children, Matteo and Vincenzo.
