Mrs. Graber is originally from northern Indiana. She moved to Bloomington, Indiana after high school to attend Indiana University. Mrs. Graber received her Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with a minor in Spanish. She went on to pursue her Master of Arts in Mathematics along with her teaching certification. Throughout her years at Indiana University Mrs. Graber had the privilege of working for the Mathematics Department. Her path to secondary education began in her undergraduate years with tutoring students and running review sessions. Throughout her graduate degree she taught several undergraduate math courses – primarily courses through a bridge program for first generation or twenty-first century scholars. Mrs. Graber realized that her love for mathematics had grown to a love for teaching.
Throughout her time in Bloomington Mrs. Graber met her now husband. Mrs. Graber and her husband recently relocated to Grand Rapids, and they are excited for a new adventure. In her free time Mrs. Graber enjoys running, kayaking, backpacking, rock climbing, dancing, going to the movies, reading a good book and spending time with family and friends.
In her first year at West Michigan Aviation Academy Mrs. Graber will be teaching Pre-Flight Math and Geometry. She’s looks forward to an exciting year!
