Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some common answers to common questions. If you’d like further information, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

What makes this school unique?

For starters, the aviation focus makes this school truly unique. WMAA is the only aviation charter high school in the nation. Our students will have access to professional aviators and must adhere to our flight requirements. Beyond the obvious, there are several other things that make the school different from other high schools. WMAA will focus on two things: academics and aviation. It will not offer extra-curricular activities nor plan to offer non-aviation electives like art, music, etc. WMAA students will attend school between 188-200 days per year and have a longer school day, with 7 classes per day.

How many students are you accepting for the fall?
